Nite Linj, Hope all your snow melts fast and warmer weather comes. We've had the same here in Wisconsin but not as bad as you.

Boo, I figured something was going on when they brought in Dan, so I would expect he will be her replacement.

Another announcement: they are preparing the vehicle and we will be going out in a quarter of an hour.

They have no internet access though, so no questions can be received at the moment.

I was just thinking about Sue. My understanding from the first announcement on the blog about her was that she was to help them transition from internet to cable TV. I am wondering whether life in the bush and its hazards, coupled with all the technical/tank issues made it seem like an impossibility for her. Any thoughts? She certainly has only given it a couple of months.

Oh yea, it's been so long since I've been on Djuma that I forgot that Dan had been in the control room too.

Let's get this drive going! It's running a couple of minutes late.

Does that mean that the live drive won't be on the internet anymore, just on cable TV?

Wow, foggy at Djuma too. Sound issues again I guess, I saw they had problems with that on the last drive.

We really don't know what is going to happen with the drives (there was talk of making them a pay thing), but I think it's an internet tv station. They will probably still be shown on the internet, but what happens next we just don't know.

Murphy/Beth has it on her list to ask them when she is at Djuma, whether we will still see the drives on the internet when they are on cable TV. Seems to me they have a lot of stuff to fix before they go on cable.

She said there was some concern about the equipment getting wet and that Alex and Rexon were getting wet. I am wondering if they will call this off. Can't see much in the mist.

I got up too Shar, think it was the sound issues again, now bad reception.

Thanks, Diana. I wish the sun would come out and melt off the mist. Not sure if that will help the sound issue, but it can't hurt.

Hi, all! Gosh, I really do not like this forum! The time always seems to be off. I never know if I am where I need to be!

Did you all have a good day?

So foggy at Djuma!

What's with all the darn popup windows on this forum tonight? I've never seen a bunch like this before. Really irritating!

I must have a good pop-up blocker. They aren't bothering me much. That one about the message is gone now and I am very happy about it.

I guess I have been over here so much that I've gotten used to it. The only difference is I have this forum set for my time zone and the NG forum is set for EDT.

Hi Dee, I had a good day today. There's a 30,000 acre wildlife area by my house and my husband and I went out looking for the wolf pack that's there. We didn't find them but found a lot of tracks. I feel like Rexon now being able to identify tracks in the sand. Looks as if the wild dogs have been around lately. What's with the feather in Rex's hat?

Dee this forum is a bit odd and it takes a bit of fiddling around to find out where you are supposed to be. But it does post quickly. I hope the NG one is as fast as this one when they get it fixed. Had a nice day, how about you?

Agogo, it's a vulture feather that Rexon found the other day. He says it's good luck.

I haven't had any problems, Boo! That is until I went to post a response to you! Just had a pop-pup message. Not good!

Hi Dee. I don't really like it either. I constantly have to search for the latest post, the order changes on me everytime I post or refresh this forum. Someimes they are on the first page, sometimes they are on the last page. Four times tonight when I've told it to show the newest post first it's taken me back to Feb. 27 posts. I just don't like the navigation is this forum.

Shar, I have a great popup blocker too, never get popups anywhere else but I keep getting a big mothers days popup right over my last post window. It goes away after a minute but it's annoying.

Hi Dee, doing ok thanks. Was nice to finally have a day off yesterday although I spent most of it grocery shopping and paying bills. Spent a few hours with my Mom this morning and then came home and starting work all over again.

I'm not getting any popups but after I post it takes me about 22 steps to get back to the forum. I wonder if there's any way to set the default to show the newest post first and keep it that way?

I don't think so Agogo. I try resetting it after every post to "1 DAY" AND "SHOW NEWEST FIRST", but once you post it goes back to "all posts" and "oldest first".

None of the newer forums allow you to set the forum for newest posts first permanently.

Think I may pack it in shortly, almost an hour and not even a bird chirp on this drive. I think the critters are all hunkered together keeping warm.

There are Francolins at the WH. Egrets at the Pond. A spider web at Djuma and a foggy morning at EP.

That's my cam report for tonight. Enjoy!
